Jimuling, located in Gongliao District, New Taipei City, is a quaint mountain village on Danlan Old Trail. After years of hard work and calling for those interested to help restore the terraced fields one bit at a time, the old water terrace fields, rice paddies, Baojia Road, ponds and other landscape features have been brought back to life.
Jimuling is also a relay station for “Yangtingli Historic Trail,” one of Danlan National Green Trails, allowing visitors to walk the mountain paths our ancestors traversed, where the woods and stone steps retain their original appearance. The restoration of water terraces and the rebirth of the century-old route have enabled Jimuling to regain past glories and made it a popular destination for travelers.
