Shicheng Station is the easternmost station on the Taiwan Railways system and it is about a 15 minute walk from the station to Shicheng Fishing Port. The fishing port is simple and quiet, and the main fish catch are lobster, small abalone, and agarose etc.
Shicheng service area is the first coffee house with a special landscape on the northeast cape. At dusk, visitors can watch the sunset and the colorful clouds. After dark, the main attractions are the ocean-going fishing boats, with the lights bobbing on the sea and the stars in the night sky perfectly complementing each other.
Ancient texts record that this historic trail is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, and when the setting sun shines, it resembles a fairyland. Visitors may chose to plan a walking itinerary, climb up the mountain and walk into the forest to experience the beautiful scenery of Lanyang plain.
