Laoliaokeng Historic Trail is one of the most famous trails in Nuannuan District. In the early years, it was the earliest coal mining area of Keelung and today it has been transformed into a mining ecological park offering plant ecology, education, historical site preservation, leisure and entertainment. The trail has been repaired, is easy going and spacious making it suitable for families to enjoy together.
Those who like to study landscapes will not want to miss the topography of pothole in Nuannuan River, with the density of such holes in the Keelung River the highest in Taiwan. The riverbed area under Nuanjiang Bridge is the largest and most mature type of pothole terrain.
