Ganjiao-Danlan National-level Green Hiking Trail

Ganjiao is located in Shuangxi District, New Taipei City. The air is fresh, the water clear, and local farming is mainly organic. The residents are optimistic and hospitable by nature. The Taifa Charcoal Kiln in Ganjiao still retains its early honeycomb arched kiln door. The so-called charcoal kiln is where mined coal is sent to generate gas coke. Visitors can enter the kiln and observe coke finished products from the past and experience how hard it was to work in the small, high-temperature kiln space.
