Meiziliao is a primitive forest and bamboo forest trail in the mountain that is quite steep. After Meiziliao, visitors can continue to Fangshankeng Historic Trail, the oldest trail used by Meiziliao residents to travel to and from Pingxi Huoshaoliao and Shuangxi Zhongkeng. There are creeks, bamboo groves and a 100-year old land god temple on the historic trail. There are guiding monuments serving as crossroad signposts, marking locations to the north, south, east and west. Each stone monument is a century-old and very precious.
