Wanfang is located in Wenshan District. After the Wenhu Line, Taipei City's first MRT line opened to traffic, it initially stopped at Wanfang Hospital and Wanfang Community, boosting Wanfang's development and prosperity. The middle and rear sections of Danlan Water Route run along Jingmei Riverside Bikeway on the east side of Wanfang. The area also connects Danlan Water Route and the Mountain Route. In the early days Wanfang Community had two coal mines called "Wanlong" and "Fangchuan," hence the name Wanfang Community. In addition, "140 Highland Park" is located at an altitude of 138 meters, preserves the original natural ecology and is an excellent ecological conservation area to study the flora and fauna of Wenshan District. There are many scenic spots in the park, overlooking Taipei 101, Maokong Gondola and the mountains to the north. It is also a good place for stargazing at night.
