Dingpu is located in Toucheng Township, Yilan County and is on the "Yilan Plain Line" of the Danlan Ancient Trail. One of the “Promotion Main Lines” starts at Waiao Railway Station and ends at Zhaoying Temple in Yilan. Along the way, it passes many old settlements, Dingpu Jiushe ruins and the former residence of Lin Chaozong, a successful businessman who held important positions and fought for the rights and interests of Dingpu, garnering him great local respect. Lin 's old residence retains the layout of the ancient three-section residential compound with exquisite carvings, showcasing the residence of an elegant and wealthy family.

The “Wetland Branch Line” starts at Toucheng Township Office and ends at Sanhe Road. Along the way, visitors can see numerous fish ponds and if they walk to Sishijia Wetland on the outskirts of the settlement, there are different species of water birds foraging and resting, passing through a green tunnel surrounded by Madagascar almond trees. This route focuses on the theme of wetland ecology.

Nearby Danlan Sido Old Trail has quiet scenery. Climb to Shipai County Boundary Park, the highest point on Beiyi Highway and experience the wonderful experience of traveling between New Taipei City and Yilan County.
