Zhuzaitan Historic Trail is relatively short and therefore less challenging than other trails. Fu-An Temple is at the beginning of the trail and offers visitors blessings so they have a safe journey. Walking up the stone steps, visitors pass ancient Fu-An Temple - a Land God temple that is several centuries old . A round trip takes about 30-40 minutes.

Because the trail is close to the popular tourist attraction of Jiufen, it is recommended visitors plan a day trip including the Historic Trail and a visit to Jiufen Old Street.
