Bengshankeng Historic Trail connects Kanjiao and Taiping areas in Shuangxi District, New Taipei City and was previously the main link between the two areas.

The beginning of the trail is close to Bengshan No. 1 Bridge where there is a striking century-old red land god temple built in 1911. Along the route there is also an ancient stone-built Youyinggong Temple, an ancestral temple dedicated to neglected souls.

Most of the trail is a dirt path and part follows Bengshankeng River with the highest point at Fengkou ridge. After passing the ridge and heading back down, visitors reach a stone arch bridge with a long history and elegant shape where it is recommended they stop to fully appreciate the structure in more detail. The exit from Bengshankeng Historic Trail intersects with an industrial road and walking towards Taiping Elementary School marks the end of the route.
