Beishixi Historic Trail, as its name suggests, is an Historic Trail along the upstream bank of Beishixi River, which is the source for Feitsui Reservoir. The trail is a decent width and relatively flat with charming riverside scenery. It passes "Zhongzheng Bridge" next to which there is a stone monument indicting it was built in 1966. As the trail goes up river, visitors also see waterfalls the size of the stone stream, and the trail ends at Shuangxikou where Beishi River and Wantan River intersect. Shuangxikou is also called Shuangshui Lake or Sanshui Lake, with a surface that is green and transparent.

There is a century-old land god public temple in Shuangxikou called "Shuangxikou Fu-De Temple." It is rare to see new and old temples coexisting side by side. This is also the point t which Beishixi Historic Trail and Wantan Historic Trail intersect.
