Daozhao Hushan Hiking Trail is in Nangang District, Taipei City. The trail is mostly bamboo forest and much of it is a dirt path stacked with stones. In some places hikers have to use their hands and feet to climb. The flora in the mountains is mainly shade-tolerant trees and ferns, and the overall environment is relatively humid. Hikers who trek Daozhao Hushan Hiking Trail continue on to Dakeng Mountain and Dakeng Waigu Trail. Those who do not plan to continue can descend along Diaozhao Hushan Trail and visit Shenkeng where Old Street offers a wide selection of delicious tofu dishes. Be sure to seek out the four treasures of Shenkeng (tofu, tea, green bamboo shoots, black pork) to take home with you.
