Lielijian Hiking Trail is located at the intersection of Shiding and Pinglin. The starting point of the trail is easy to identify as there are two Zen temples nearby. When visitors see several striking golden Buddha statues on both sides of the road the start of the trail entrance is nearby and can be reached by following the trail indicators.

Walking up the gentle stone steps from the entrance, it does not take long to reach the top of Lielijian Mountain. At the top is a large wooden viewing platform and pavilion which offer visitors an excellent view, including a 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, tea farms and Feicui Reservoir in the distance.

Pinglin, New Taipei City is a famous tea town and the trail passes through many tea farms. Visitors are urged to visit Pinglin and taste the renowned local Wenshan Paochong Tea. After observing the environment in which the tea is grown, drink a cup of unforgettable freshly brewed hot tea.
