Sidu Historic Trail is located in the "Bihu" to "Shipai County Boundary Park" area in Pinglin District, at the intersection of New Taipei City and Yilan County. It is about 9 kilometers in length and takes about 3-4 hours to walk.

The trail is divided into front and back sections, with Sidu Historic Trail guide boards and path indicators at the beginning. Most of the route is a relatively primitive gravel path, with overgrown vegetation and abundant flora.

The back section of the trail is quiet and elegant, with the clear water of the bubbling stream running into Sidu River. Finally, visitors climb up the steps to Shipai County Boundary Park, which is the highest point on Beiyi Highway and the point at which Pinglin and Toucheng in Yilan meet The trails in the park have been paved with artificial afforestation, and visitors can also climb up to the viewing platform for an expansive view of the Lanyang Plain stretching out into the distance.
