On September 8, the Tourism Bureau, MOTC and Taiwan Thousand Miles Trail Association signed a collaboration memorandum for Danlan’s national hiking trails.
Attended by MOTC minister Lin Chia-lung, representatives from Taipei City, New Taipei City, Keelung City, and Yilan County Governments, and central-government officials, Tourism Bureau Director Chang Hsi-tsung and the association's director Chang Chang-yi signed the collaboration memorandum to promote Danlan’s hiking trails across the globe. The attendants, from both private and public sectors, vowed to promote the national trails which not only possess regional cultural characteristics but are also environment-friendly. With support from the people in Taiwan, the MOTC hopes to make Danlan a major force for pushing Taiwan’s green tourism forward in post-pandemic times.
